FAQs

Q. Do your weekend tickets include camping?

All weekend tickets include a spot for your tent in our grassy camping field, OR you can chose to pay a bit extra and bring a Live-in Vehicle, or stay in our Family Camping field.

Q. What is included in a Family Camping pass or Live-in Vehicle pass?

Each Family Camping and Live-In Vehicle pitch gives space (7m x 5m) for one van/car AND one tent / awning - you’ll need to follow the clear instructions from the Stewards when parking in your pitch and stay within its boundaries and clear of all the fire lanes.

If you want to park up with other friends, you’ll need to arrive at the same time as all pitches are allocated in sequence.

Family Camping is furthest away from all festival areas and has a noise curfew of 11pm. If that doesn’t suit you, please don’t book a Family Camping space.

Q. Can I bring a caravan or trailer tent?

A. Towed caravans are permitted in the Live-In Vehicle area, for those with a valid pitch pass. But entrance is only permitted between 10am and 2pm on Friday 12th July and you will need to park your car in the car park after setting up. You will need to buy a separate car park pass for this.

Q. Can I go into the Family camping field if I haven't purchased a family camping pass?

A. To ensure the safety and peace of the families camping within the family camping field extra security is provided at all access points to the field and ONLY pass holders will be issued with the appropriate wrist bands to enter this area.

Q. Does my ticket include parking?

A. No, your ticket does not include parking, you will need to purchase parking on top of your festival ticket if you need to bring a vehicle. We do encourage greener ways of travelling - via our shuttle bus, through lift-sharing schemes and bicycle incentives.

Q. Will you be selling day tickets?

Yes, for each of the 3 festival days. These tickets (on sale 1st April 2024) permit entry to the site for that day only, from 10am to 2am. You will not be allowed to bring camping equipment on site or sleep in your car, and will be unable to gain access to the festival site on any other day.

Q. When does the site open and close?

A. The festival gates will open on Friday 12th July 2024 at 10am and we politely request that you leave the site by 1pm on Monday 15th. Each day, the gates are open for admission from 10am to 10pm, with strictly no entry or re-entry to the site after 10pm each day. You can of course leave the site whenever you want to.

Q. Can I camp before the festival starts?

Unfortunately not, as we build Tropical Pressure the Eco park is closed and we can’t allow the public onsite until 10am on Friday 12th July.

Q. Why do we have to give you individual attendee names?

We are just trying to stop touts from bulk buying tickets and selling them on at inflated prices. It really works!

Q. Can I change the attendee names once I’ve bought tickets?

Yes you can! As per our Terms & Conditions, you just need to fill in the Name Change form, and you can only do this ONCE. The window for changing names closes on June 30th so allow plenty of time. Please note we are unable to process any change of names after this date, but you will be able to sell your tickets via TWICKETS (see below).

Q. I can’t come any more - can you issue a refund?

As per our Terms & Conditions, we cannot issue refunds. If you wish to sell your ticket to someone else then we will ONLY accept ticket exchanges that have been issued and administered by TWICKETS. If you have bought a ticket from someone via another platform (eg. Facebook/Ebay) and the name on the ticket doesn’t match your ID, you’ll be refused entry.

Q. I bought tickets for my friends, but I’m arriving after them. How do they collect them?

As the ticket buyer, you will have been sent the full list of tickets with each attendee named. It is up to you to distribute the tickets among your party, so that they can present them with their ID at the Box Office.

Q. I have limited mobility, how far is the main festival activity from the campsite?

A. Tropical Pressure is a small, friendly and intimate event, and compared to a large festival everything is really quite close together. It is a maximum of 50 metres walk from the car park to the campsite and 200 metres from the campsite into the main festival area. Please note that the vast majority of the site is grassy and level, but there are no designated wheelchair walkways.

Q. I need to park close to the festival gates for accessibility.

A. We have a limited number of accessible parking spaces. These can be requested by getting in touch via our general enquiries email once you have purchased your parking pass.

Q. Do you offer passes for registered carers?

A. Yes, if you would like to attend with a registered carer, and have proof of need (e.g. Carer Allowance Statement), you may be* eligible for a free carer pass. Once you have bought your own ticket, you need to send your booking confirmation and proof of carer status to us via e-mail. *Please note that allocation of carer passes is at the discretion of the organisers, and that passes are limited - we recommend getting in touch before you purchase your ticket to make sure of availability.

Q. Can we bring our dog?

A. Sorry, but we absolutely cannot allow any dogs on site, including the car park, unless registered Guide or Hearing dogs. The parking attendants will not admit you to the car park if you have brought your dog, so please arrange for them to be looked after elsewhere for the weekend.

Q. Can we bring our own alcohol?

A. We allow an amount of alcohol to be brought in to the camping area, but you will not be allowed to take your own drinks into the main festival site. The limits are as follows (per person): 1 x slab (24 cans) of beer, lager or cider OR 1 x 3 ltr box of wine OR 1 x 1 ltr of spirits. ALL alcohol must be contained in clear flasks, reusable plastic bottles or cans, and you can ONLY bring this on site on your first journey into the campsite. Security will not permit re-entry with further drinks, and any drinks deemed to be above the limits prescribed will be confiscated.

Please help support the future of Tropical Pressure by drinking at our bars, which are very reasonably priced!

Q. Can we bring our own pre-prepared food?

A. Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food (which is not required to be Vegetarian!) into the site. Please just think before bringing lots of packaged foodstuffs into the festival site - we are trying really hard to be waste free!

Q. Can we use BBQs in the campsite?

A. Yes, but they must be off the ground on a proper stand, and no disposable aluminium ones please. Please be sensible when deciding where to cook up, keeping away from tents.

Q. Can we buy tickets from you directly over the phone?

A. All e-tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor our online box office provider. We can’t sell you any in person at the Eco Park office so don’t please don’t make a wasted journey…

Q. Will there be showers?

A. Yes we will have showers available to use, we charge for these, the price will be confirmed closer to the date and they will accept card and cash payments.

Q. Will the bars and traders take cash and card.

A. Yes, all our bars and traders will be accepting both cash and card. We do recommend bringing cash as internet for card machines can be temperamental.

Q. And most importantly… What is this year’s fancy dress theme!?

A. This year’s theme is ‘Movements’ in all their forms - lets dress to flutter, glide, stride or revolutionise! We'll be on the lookout throughout Saturday, July 13th, for fancy dress winners who will be showered with fabulous TP goodies! We're not just looking for fantastic outfits... bonus points will be awarded for your inventiveness and how environmentally friendly your costume is.
