From Songlines Magazine, August 2016
“With such an abundance of festivals these days Tropical Pressure showed that passion and creativity, rather than elaborate fanfare or over-ambition, should fuel a festival’s spirit. Through well-chosen bands, a gorgeous setting, great vegetarian and vegan food and an intimacy that means you instantly feel part of a community of like-minded souls, Tropical Pressure is a great example of how to run a world music festival. It’s also a sure-fire way to put a smile on your face.”

What you said, reviewing the festival for our Facebook Page
“Well where to begin, Tropical Pressure was an awesome festival from start to finish. The site is not only unique but a really great venue with tucked away little areas to chill and meet like minded souls. The full range of musical genres kept us bouncing, jigging and smiling the whole time. Such a great safe atmosphere for families and adults alike. Miles of smiles and everyone eager to help and assist, from a lady losing her bag with loads of money in it for it to be handed in untouched just shows what love and compassion was shown at this years event. To the stalls which were great to browse and buy as well as the food on sale not being too expensive but amazing quality.
Would I recommend? Most certainly I would let’s bring on the next 10 years thank you to all involved in making it happen” Matty
“The best in the West. nuff said. Boom. We love you. I even delayed opening my business in Kenya just to be here. That’s how good.” Rachael
“This is one of those festivals where you can go on your own and you don’t feel alone! Everyone is warm and welcoming. The music gets those feet dancing away, and the food is on a whole other level! Perfect for families who want to let go a little without having to worry about the kids too much, and for individuals who want to meet likeminded people. This year was my second year and I can definitely say…I’m already looking forward to next year. ” Azura
